Perhaps it would save time if he went back to get his car, but then again it was only a short distance, and he had a tremendous propensity for getting lost when driving. This was largely because of his method of “Zen” navigation, which was simply to find any car that looked as if it knew where it was going and follow it. The results were more often surprising than successful, but he felt it was worth it for the sake of the few occasions when it was both.

Anonymous asked: How come you're such a huge fan of THHGTTG?
How to explain… Basically it’s everything I like wrapped up in one. I think the satire was what really pulled me in when I was younger because I had never read good satire. Hitchhiker’s always made me laugh out loud while reading alone. And of course the science fiction and all the existential ideas. And there are so many mediums in which to enjoy the story, radio, books, tv. I could really go on and on with all the little bits I love about his stories and unique ideas.

mr. prosser
Curiously enough, though he didn’t know it, he was also a direct male-line descendant of Genghis Khan, though intervening generations and racial mixing had so juggled his genes that he had no discernible Mongoloid characteristics, and the only vestiges left in Mr. L Prosser of his mighty ancestry were a pronounced stoutness about the tum and a predilection for little fur hats.
